  I LOVE my church family! Also, after reading all these negative reviews about Liberty it had me thinking ..whatever happened to people asking questions. If you have an issue, ask someone! If you feel left out or you feel that nobody wants to "get to know you" ..have you actually voiced these struggles or feelings? Just like in everyday life you can't assume that people will guess what you're dealing with! Talk! Make your grievances known! Nobody is a mind-reader. I know I'm not! I'm sorry, just feel sorry for the people that have attended Liberty and had false expectations or that just didn't question things and get clarification on certain subjects..so now they've left bitter. And I want to clarify one thing -
  Liberty is NOT a cult. I can tell you that for sure. I wasn't saved as young woman ..and was NOT following Jesus for a LONG time. Actually, I had no idea what born-again was, but I can tell you that I definitely don't follow every teaching or every statement PJ makes to a T. That's because I do my own research and question things ..because God wants us to be on guard and do this. You don't have to AGREE with everything PJ says in order to be a member either. We're here for Jesus, not Pastor John's teachings! They help to encourage us, and enrich our walk with Him - but they are also part God/part man0. Furthermore, there have been times when my husband and I don't agree with everything Pastor John says, but we respect him wanting to do what God has called him to do. He's our pastor, but he's also a human being. Basically, not perfect. THIS IS A CHURCH. It's a group of PEOPLE with the same belief in the same JESUS, but from different backgrounds and views. People aren't perfect. People have their own walks with Jesus. Most of the time it's a lack of understanding of the Word that turns people away from God. I know that was why I didn't know Jesus like I know Him now! I just didn't understand! If that was your case, I encourage you to DIG DEEP into His Word! Or better yet - get in contact with me online! I'd LOVE to read the Word with you and answer as many questions (as a human being) I can answer! But please be aware, I don't know everything! And I'm cool with that because I'm growing :) We live in a very broken world, guys. So tearing down another church and claiming they're a cult or practice witchcraft (which they definitely don't because I used to do that), isn't going to get you anywhere in your walk with Jesus; and most-certainly won't help those that are trying to find Him! If you claim to follow Jesus, act like it! Own it! I understand some of you were hurt and I am so sorry. I just don't want miscommunication to be a reason that you don't end up in Heaven. Again, I apologize on behalf of my church/church family, and if there was any lack of compassion or love towards any one of you I am so sorry! I just want to enforce that your relationship with Jesus shouldn't be determined by what church you go to - or the teachings that are taught there. Church is just an extension of that relationship; to fellowship and pray with other believers. People aren't perfect, I'm not perfect & I can tell you that pastors aren't perfect. God Bless

  I have been going here for over 24 years. It is a great place to grow closer to the Lord and always has something new going on.

  So grateful for a place where I can, grow both collectively and personally. We've been learning, worshipping and watching our children grow in their faith these past 6 years! Two of our 4 children have been baptized at Liberty. They ABSOLUTELY LOVE going to church! We live with a hope and a "Confidence in Heaven." I am confident that I will stand before God one day and hear the words "Well Done."
  
  It's refreshing to be in a church where the Bible is researched and taught, where critical thinking is encouraged and where logic is embraced.
  
  I've met Jesus here and I have seen Him at work in every level of leadership and parishioner. I've listened to so many AMAZING testimonies along the way and I've forged life-long (eternity long) friendships!
  
  So thankful for my church family! I think the atmosphere at Liberty comes close to embodying God's idea of community and fellowship among men. The multicultural mix is a nice, welcoming bonus for our family as we represent many nations.

  This church is the worst church on the planet! I made a huge mistake to ever go there. They practice the very thing they preach against which is witchcraft! They use a very controlling, manipulative, and crazy ministry tactic to try to control people for various reasons. I would never go back there because they act like they own me and have never released me since I left.
